this is the same crap he did game after game after game for the celtics last year. like i said when the deal was made, posey disrupts shite and it doesn't always show up on the stat sheet. that's exactly what he's doing for the hornets.

after a few more games, anyone who still says posey was a bad signing either doesn't understand basketball or has issues with admitting they were wrong (or at least understand the type of player he is).

bottom line, the dude is a winner.

I thought he was a great get-maybe the piece missing last year. And with starters being nicked up already, he becomes even more important.

I knew he was great from his Heat days. He is a big time glue guy.

if he's so great, then why do so many teams let him go?

is he disruptive in the locker room?

i have heard he and J-Will both caused some issues in the Griz locker room, so we went out and got Bonzi Wells.

i think he was a great pickup. he played a lot of minutes in the fourth quarter and played great defense against lebron for the majority of he. he managed to out rebound ely and armstrong and out steal cp3 in 20 minutes of PT.
i cant wait to see what the hornets can do when they get TC and peja back at full strength.

Money

Posey make his living on good old fashioned hustle , Teams will always make room for that type of player in their line-up. When he first came into the league he couldn't shoot like a lot of other players. That is now a strength through putting in the time and effort to get better.....I said that addressing the defensive issues on the perimeter from last years team would be key.....Posey was one of the best ways to do it

agreed. He is one of the few guys you can stick on a super star in this league and feel somewhat comfortable.

lets stay on topic. do you agree with the signing or not?

as for being disruptive, that was 4 years ago. he is the ultimate warrior in practice and in the locker room.

that's not the problem

the problem is the complete avoidance of the big holes that the hornets have

*ETA: and the problem is his salary when he's old, which may come very soon (like the last 2 years of his deal)

if we don't make other free agent moves that are possibilities b/c of his salary and our owner being cheap i may lose my mind

i'll put it that way

he wants a slasher. even though we didn't get one SFP has stated numerous times that this was still a bad signing.

the hornets have garbage after chandler and west, and chandler can only do 1 thing on offense (finish alley oops)

IMO it is never a bad thing to have a guy like Posey on your team. He can play so many positions and he can knock down huge threes when Paul drives. His defense is great. Just no way you can knock the guy IMO. I like him over the Peja signing.
