What's the feeling around Baton Rouge about the new coach and expectations for this season?

I was looking forward to this season for the Cats in year two of Billy G's tenure but the loss to the VMI Keydets was shocking and embarassing last night. I hope it isn't a foreshadowing of the rest of the season.

Bo Spencer looked like the best player on the team today fwiw. really improved from last year.

About 20 wins, maybe sneak into the NCAAs. today started off slow but finished very strong with the 79-65 win over Jackson State.

We should start off 8-0 and that's first "group" of game sI'm really looking at right now.

We at least have hope this year. Not sure what to expect yet, but it has to be better than last year.
