I just don't get it....

Why is everyone so down? This program has never experienced a stretch like this since football has been played at LSU. 2 MNC's in 5 years. LSU is not going to win a MNC every year. LSU is young at many key positions for example QB! I am proud that they fought back last night, and expected a big let down after the Alabama game. Florida didn't even make a BCS bowl last year and look at them this year.....there is just no reason to bash this program like SFP and some others do.

Last night's game was showed me that we are going through a bad year but next year, be ready to be back at the top. It's great to think that a bad year now means a possible 10-3 finish.

I guess we should probably just shut the program down sheek. LSU almost lost a game to somebody they should have crushed. You need to wake up....teams lose to teams they should beat all the time.

you are right. I should be doing black flips for coming from behing to beat a former Division 1-AA team last night that would lose to mcneese every year. I am sorry unlike yourself I will not accept mediocrity. Enjoy your win over an avg sun belt team b/c we lose to ole piss next week.

Yeah and things were falling apart in 2004
THis little former 1-AA teams has knocked some SEc schools and other major schools off so lets gets some perpsctive

I am getting some perspective. I am starting to accept that a. les will not demote dumb and dumber at the end of the year b. we are underacheiving c. 4 losses will become the new expectation.

Stretch.... as in the past. I think most of us that you are referring to are looking at the direction in which the program is heading and not the direction from whence it came. That's all.
