"My wife and I are pregnant" thread from months ago

That was a good one. Spirited debate and trash talking about "She's pregnant, not you" and a number of transgender jokes. Fair enough. Classic OT thread. Then there was the miscarriage. And that was sad. I shared that with you all, too, because it was a somber moment with life lessons.
Now, I figured I'd test my luck and share something else with you. We now have a baby, on the outside and with us. As I look at them both, I don't think my wife has ever looked more beautiful, and life now feels complete.
They're both sweet things, and I want to be with them forever. But the little one will grow up. Knowing that and what happened with our first, I just cherish each moment like watching her little belly bob with each breath tonight in our room. Just remember how fragile life is, folks, and that there will always be a last time you carry your child on your shoulders. If you do remember that, then like the SEC, every little thing just means more.

I’ll be waiting on the divorce thread to bring everything full circle. Maybe a couple “How did you quit drinking?” threads in the meantime.
Congrats!

My wife got 10000x sexier second pregnancy. Their hormones go crazy and they get horny a lot.

If they weren't that way before the kid, you're the one that is in the wrong.

Demand your employer provide you with “chest feeding” breaks.
Bring a pillow and blanket to work.
Profit.

Am I misreading? You had a thread from “months ago” (not years), then had a miscarriage, and now have a live baby? That timeline is confusing unless I’m missing something obvious.

Congrats, but understand that you are under the influence of both your hormones and hers.
Many, many, bad things will be suggested from both your wife and extended family over the next five years. Most of these will be things that put you in a precarious financial position. "Don't worry about the 529, let's take them to Disney" and associated garbage. It's your job to be responsible, but sensitive.
You have to remember that you have to lead the logical part of the family, especially when she's in supreme hormone mode, and everyone on the outside is giving you "helpful" advice, which tends to result in financial or familial problems. Now that you have a child, the FOMO will likely kick into a higher gear before the child is 24 months old. #resist.
Lead. If you get led, you will find yourself in a very bad position in a few years.

Is it yours? We need pics of the paternity test or it didn’t happen!
Congratulations

Being "sensitive" gets you laid?

No, it's all but a year ago to the day was the miscarriage. Thread was shortly before then I think. Hard to remember exactly when. So, probably a month or so over a year ago. Fairly close. Also was a long night before and day when I posted last night lol
