Saw him a year ago or so when he was at Smoothie King Center and he was great. He was more of the opener but I’d love to see him have his own entire show.

Jackson Browne still sounds great, unlike Bob Dylan.

He put on a great performance. Voice was strong and distinct. No way you’d think he was 75 just listening.

Lately, I’ve been re-listening to some of his work. In the early 70’s I bought everything he released, I think. Great songwriter and multi- instrumentalist.
He also had some of the best session and sidemen ever:
Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel, David Lindley, Danny kortchmor, etc. they sometimes tour with him. Go to the show.

I saw him live twice - first time was probably '78 and he was amazing and had the sidemen that VOR mentioned. Next time was '81 and the backup musicians were completely different and he was in somewhat of a "rockers" phase (Hold Out lp) and it was meh. But, those lps he did up to Running On Empty were all amazing.

Saw him Friday night on Houston.

Really good show. Played the hits you would expect, with a lot of the more obscure stiff too.

Very relaxed vibe. Played for two and a half hours.

I just listened to the, 'For Everyman' album. 'Sing My Songs to Me' and 'For Everyman' is, IMO, one of the strongest set of closers on any album ever.
