Any thoughts about the Horseshoe Casino, in Lake Charles? I know it used to be Isle of Capri. Did the renovation work? Is it a decent place to stay now?
The wife and I are thinking about trying it out on our next trip to LC. We normally stay at the Golden Nugget but want to try something different.

I would highly advise against that. Most of it is still not finished yet. It was a very rushed opening for some reason.

They've done an Ok job, but its still a tier or 2 lower than GN and L'auberge

It's nice, but small compared to the Nugget & Lauberge...
Also 6 to 5 blackjack unless in high limit room.
