Next time you get the urge to add something to your garden, consider the miracle fruit. The fruit that's produced from this plant is...a miracle. It truly is for any patient going thru chemo. This fruit can help trigger the taste buds for cancer patients, who say everything tastes metallic and give them an appetite again. When you chew on this fruit, sour or bitter tasting things suddenly taste very sweet.

It only need acidic soil and tropical sunny weather, otherwise keep indoors as you would a potted plant.

I've been wanting one of these. I heard if you eat the fruit, then drink a beer, it tastes sweet!

Very hard to grow for amateurs like me. If someone has one and it has fruited, let me know.

The unique effect on the taste buds only last about 15mins. I cannot say enough good things about how this fruit has improved the lives of chemo patients. Check out this YouTube video with feedback from cancer patients...

Here is a funny video of kids after eating the miracle fruit then eat bitter sour foods. Their honest opinions are funny as all heck.

I bought mine already started but it was pricey. I purchased mine from Logee's.
