Lobster recipes

So this weekend I'm gonna cook myself a really good meal since I had to work thanksgiving and didn't get to go the route with the family and huge meal.
I was thinking of trying to cook lobster since I've never had it before and it's something I've always wanted to try.
Does anybody have a preferred recipe before I go the "consult Alton Brown" route that I usually take when trying new foods?

Crack the claws and split the tails in half. Broil or grill on high heat. Melt butter w/ a little garlic. Dont care for boiled or steamed. Also you can use your favorite seasoning on tails.Cajun is good.

wow.. you just suggested the two ways I'm incapable of cooking it.
I don't have access to a grill or broiler, and I don't think I can make do with my oven.

bay, surely your oven has a broiler of some sort. Plunge the live critter into boling salt hot water to kill him, split in half, slather with melted butter, sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning of your choice and run under your broiler just until it pulls back from the shell a little. Pretty much just like described above.

think I can just put the oven on its highest setting and move the rack closest to the heating elements?

If you have any leftovers, lobster make a great omelete with a little onion and cilantro...Sautee all three in butter, add the whipped eggs, and top with some homemade hollandaise.

You should have steamed your lobster.
