angels in the details
sour mash
thing about a cory branan show is you don't really know what you're going to get. might be acoustic, might be electric. might do weird looping things. When he's not the opener, you're going to get a story teller/comedian type show. Definitely one of the most entertaining singer songwriters currently touring. His albums are always produced well and I enjoy them but the real gold is his live show.
never been to this bar before but they've been hosting live music and the place looks cool. owned by the same people who own hayride scandal so the drinks are likely to be very good.

Though this bar has many unique features—from the vintage theme to the pet-friendly patio—DeMatteo says, at its core, Pelican to Mars is intended to be an elevated take on an at-home bar for the community.
“We really played to the space’s strengths,” he says. “To us, even with Hayride, the most important thing is to have a warm, welcoming, non-snobbish atmosphere. And this has absolutely accomplished that.”

Hopefully the alcohol is cheaper than Chelsea's Live Brooklyn
More venues always a plus - hope it works out

good! should be a really good show. he last played BR opening for american aquarium in december last year when he was very sick. not sick this time around so it'll be a much better show not under the weather.

Great show! And pelican to mars is a chill spot with a great patio. Reminds me of California coast beach bars.
