Freddy vs Jason Soundtrack

How many of you listened to the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack (which came out 20 years ago)? I remember that it turned me on to some great bands I had not heard before (Killswitch Engage, Ill Niño, Spineshank, etc.) and bands that I was already familiar with (Sevendust and Seether) was overall just a badass soundtrack that any metalhead would love and play over and over again.
I can’t think of another movie’s soundtrack that had such a strong showcase of hard rock and metal bands as this one. Definitely a great starting record for anyone getting into the metal genre.

Introduced me to Killswitch
Killswitch became one of my favorite bands soon after hearing this album. I bought the first two albums they did with Howard and played em quite often! Still love them to this day.

I don’t remember if it was this soundtrack that introduced me to In Flames or not. But I discovered them around the same time also. I loved the twin music videos for Trigger and Soilwork’s Rejection Role.

Pillage, “Army of Me” is a head-banging masterpiece also.

I wasn't aware of this one, but I loved the Scream 3 soundtrack from 2000:
LINK
That's how I discovered Finger 11, System of a Down and Slipknot.
2 Creed songs including Is This the End.

Mid 90s-early 00s had a bunch of metal/hard rock soundtracks. Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight is easily the best, or Gummo if you're into more underground stuff. Dracula 2000, Heavy Metal 2000, Bride of Chucky, Dee Snider's Strangeland, Scorpion King, Spawn, and and a few others were all good.

That Queen of the Damned soundtrack was pretty legit too.
