if you're looking for cheap drinks your best bet is to stay near Fred's or Reggies because you will not find cheap drinks anywhere inside the perimeter that is worth going to (and or safe to go to).

East Andrews in Buckhead, cheaper drinks are at the "dirty triangle". 3 bars right next to each other. Bars are called Peachtree Tavern, Moondogs, and Hole in the Wall. You'll find some easy scores there.

Truth. Bring your best Gucci and DnG, and don't leave your titanium Amex at home if you plan on taking a girl home from Buckhead, or parts of Midtown for that matter.
The exception to the rule in Buckhead is the Moondogs, Peachtree Tavern, and Hole in the Wall group. Crowd is younger here(18-24) and more open to getting drunk and hooking up in a bathroom stall. Drinks are "cheaper" here too.
For what you're looking for your best bet is the Virginia Highlands area. Cheap drinks(2-3 dollar beers, lotsa pitcher specials) and slutty college women.
