I expect a Carl Pavano-type of performance.

His town is in all caps "BOSTON"
His title is in all caps

CMON CUBS FAN...I REPRESENT THE NORTH SIDERS...I ALWAYS TYPE IN ALL CAPS...WHATS THE BIG DEAL....IS BURNETT THAT GOOD..OR WILL HE FALL FLAT?? SOLID QUESTION
Posted on 12/10/08 at 8:18 pm to SEERITE
yes he is overpowering when healthy. Healthy being the key word. I hope Burnett goes to the Braves. baseball needs a salary cap fast or baseball is going to implode.

I REFUSE TO ANSWER ANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS UNTIL YOU STOP TYPING IN ALL CAPS

Even if I do type in lower case...dont reply...ur response will be pointless anyways...Im sure you know nothing about sports...As a matter of fact...Im positive!!!

Well that would hurt my feelings, except I don't value the opinion of people who say "ur" unless it's dolla, and seriously use more than one exclamation point.

he turns 32 in janurary and they're going to give him a 5yr deal?
burnett's stuff is nasty, but hes still a ~4.00 ERA in the AL East.

I think we may be offering him a little too much to be the 3rd starter, but we just can't trust Phil Hughes to come into the rotation.

Burnett would be one nasty #3-4 pitcher.
1)C.C
2)Joba
3/4 Wang/Burnett
anybody with a better rotation than that?

I think Wang is the 2nd starter. He won 19 games two years in a row, before being hurt last year.
1) CC
2) Wang
3) Joba/Burnett
4) Burnett/Joba
and hopefully we could get Pettitte back for one more year.
