Gents. ... as the topic says I'm looking for this location. I'm finally parting with my cargo camper and the VIN decal is no longer legible due to the sun.

I tried looking around the tongue but so far nothing. They have to stamp them somewhere else I would imagine. Anyone have any experience with this on a trailer?

Thanks.

Not on registration?
It’s tied to your license plate also, title company should be able to pull it.

Depends on the trailer type.

My AI friend says that for:
Cargo or dump trailers
The VIN and tire information card are usually on plaques on the front roadside wall

Side dump trailers
The VIN tag is on the driver's side frame rail, behind the landing leg

EZ Loader Custom Trailers
The last five digits of the VIN may be stamped on top of the trailer frame, before the frame welds into the tongue

Load Trail trailers
The VIN sticker is usually on the driver's side, near the front of the trailer

I have the registration and it is posted on there but I want to make sure if someone comes to purchase they will want to check the trailer numbers to make sure they match the trailer... maybe they won't.

I wasn't sure if there was a place somewhere on the frame I'm not seeing.

Thanks
