Received a text stating to arrive 2 hours before scheduled departure due to higher than normal air travel expected for tomorrow. Is this accurate or a better to be safe than sorry type warning.

One thing I learned at MSy. No one checks your boarding pass to enter the priority/1st class line. I pay extra for priority boarding to get in the short line and realized in the last three trips no one checked.

Quicker than the pre check line.
