Crabbing at Wetland Watchers Park

Never been but read you can catch nice crabs there. Anyone been in early July or know if they’re running? Thinking of bringing my kid out there Friday. It’s less than a hour from the house which makes it an appealing morning trip.

Thanks. Yes there were lots of places. Didn’t catch any crabs though. Some locals were telling us they caught a bunch a few days earlier. Guess we just had a bad day for it!

if no tide they feed with lunar majors/minors

Thanks for this bit of advice. Applied this to a calendar and caught a couple dozen in an hour on Sunday.
