Paint boat name on transom.

I want to find someone in the BR area to paint the name of my boat on the transom in gold leaf. Probably the LA registration numbers as well.

Not changing the name are you? Sea gods frown on name changes. There is a ritual you must follow that requires carbon steel and a half gallon of rum....
It is a fairly simple process. I have never done it but I have seen it done. Not painting but gold leaf....some of the boats you see with it done have a piece of art on the transom...

I have heard of the tradition to change the name involving pouring rum on the deck and having a virgin urinate in the bilge.
Not changing name, don’t want pee in bilge.

Always best to defer to the sea gods and keep the initial name...no telling which gods you may leave off the list and may miss a rite that is required.
