i overdid it recently with this. a couple of bands around a fence post and then punch/shot put-style rotation. now my hip muscles (glute med, i think) are aggravated. next? chiro or massage
taking the opportunity to solicit your opinions on rotational or other movement patterns you train regularly. I strength train with barbells and kbs regularly 5'8" ~195lbs

I've been using viprs a lot. An 8 kilo vipr will wear you the F out pretty quickly.

When I was younger I was all about heavy squat, bench, and DL. The past few years I'm starting to realize that I'm getting old so I've been trying to work on mobility and rotational movement type stuff. The viprs can be pretty fun and focus a lot on rotational movements and shifting weight away from your body. I think it's helped my back and shoulders out a lot.

Rotational training is great. If anyone ever wants a deep dive, Dr Stuart McGill is a great source on this

i do alot of water bag rotations and med balls. I only train rotation in the speed strength and strength speed ranges
and then i still hit a lot as it helps me with teaching my sons on things
