Trying to make patio evening tolerable w/o deet…. Giant drum fan doesn’t cut it, mf’rs are relentless.
1) are they reasonably effective?
2) any recs or tips?

I have a thermacell. Works well for me.

I use Talstar P in a backpack pump sprayer with a misting tip on it and it works.
Years ago I hired Orkin to come out once a month and it's the same chemical they were using.

I use that fogger with Talstar and fog my yard, trees and other spots that would hold mosquitoes. I This works very well
