Got a 9 lb. pork butt I cut deep slits in and filled it with some salt, pepper, clove of garlic, green onion and a sprig of parsley and will brown it off hard in some bacon grease before going into the oven for 3+ hours to cook.
About 1 hour before it comes out, in go the sweet potatoes and the wife bought a box of Texas Toast that will be tossed in the over till done.
I'll probably put some fresh broccoli in the steamer to go with it and round out the meal.
I'll watch the Saints on TV and around the beginning of the 4 qtr. I'll get the stuff going for dinner.
Oh, and Rouses has the 2 pack of pork butts priced at $1.29 lb. until this coming Tuesday at closing.
I'm cooking one and made green onion sausage with the other yesterday.

I make my own and the wife and I each ate a link a day for 3 days running for breakfast.
Never had Nunu's but have had a good bit of it from Juneau's Cajun Meats out of Marksville and it is very good.
