I know TN was a top 5 D but are there any basic fundamental differences? I mean other than the DB's know who to cover.

The biggest fault in our '08 defense was lack of discipline. Bunch of juveniles thinking all they had to do was show up and the opposition would crumble. You can play with passion, but it has to be focused and within a scheme. If he can bring this, the rest will sort itself out.

Trindon's actually gonna be the DE that drops when we run fire zone. QB won't see him and he'll get like 5 pick 6's next yr

He will show us meaningful schemes, like tackle the guy with the football. And also, stay close to the player who is running a pass route.

We need some speed at LB. We are terrible at covinging RBs out of backfield and they struggle even guarding tightends. And most teams are running more spread type offenses. Chad would be a great LB, We can have Coleman and Mccray at safety. Chad Jones doesnt come off the field either.

I think thats a good point chuse. We need cj on the field somehow. He is just a game changer. would give many advantages. with the exception of running up the middle on us. which can be neutralized with good blitzes and a stout interior dline

Regardless of who, we need to fix that as you say Chuse. Covering the rb and TE was a huge issue and almost caused us to lose to Moo St

You're going to be very disappointed. Nothing about Chavis' D is attacking. Bend but don't break.

Hopefully Ron Brooks on the field at all times either at safety or cb.
