i started a thread back in the summer about how i was getting super tired in the afternoons, etc:

and then updated on page 2 after eventually getting a diagnosis of being hypothyroid. i've been on synthroid for about three weeks now, and i'm feeling better but still not really back to normal.
just wondering who else here deals with this issue? it's been crazy going from someone who was super healthy and never gave a second thought about my health other than just generally staying fit and eating healthy to suddenly being consumed with health issues. it's taking a toll on my mental health for sure, but i'm hopeful that eventually it will all level out and i will start to feel normal again.

I do (did?). I was feeling run down, got tested numbers were low. Doctor put me on the lowest dose and I did feel a little better, blood work was perfect. Fast forward a few months, I'm feeling bad again, get retested, numbers are extremely high. Doctor takes me off the meds. Now I'm on nothing, waiting to retest again.

What kind of numbers did you have when you first got on the meds? What about most recently? I'm still learning about all this and struggling with the entire concept of having to be tied to pills the rest of my life.

4.35 at first —>meds prescribed—>1.87–>.009–> off meds. Now I’m waiting. All this in a 6 month period

Your TSH? Haha mine was like off the charts high. The doc couldn't believe I was still functional

Haha yeah I saw mine was barely over normal. Was yours over 10? When mine dropped to .009, my doc actually said “shite! I bet you feel terrible”.
