I could easily see it not being until the middle of 2010

Post their schedule from next year.

The 2009 Gator Football Schedule
9/5 Charleston Southern
9/12 Troy
9/19 Tennessee
9/26 at Kentucky
10/10 at LSU
10/17 Arkansas (Homecoming)
10/24 at Mississippi State
10/31 vs. Georgia (Jacksonville FL)
11/7 Vanderbilt
11/14 at South Carolina
11/21 Florida International
11/28 Florida State (Senior Day)
12/5 SEC Championship Game (Atlanta GA)
At LSU is tough, but I could easily see that being a blowout. After that, for an SEC schedule, it's not overly dificult

scary thing about florida is meyers whole schtick is to recruit to have the fastest team possible. he isnt even their yet, but he said he is almost there. he will get more harvin types, and their d is very young and improved ridiculously from last year. uf is a great academic school with tons of athletic resources in a talent rich state also. deadly combo

Assuming Tebow comes back (and I have no reason to think he won't), they'll easily be preseason #1 with Texas and USC following immediately thereafter.
That being said, they're gonna have one gigantic fricking target on their back next year and I firmly believe they will slip up at least once along the way.

you can see it, but as CFB shows every single year you can't predict anything
everything looks easy on paper until a few people have an off night and some other team plays out of their arse

Besides LSU, Florida doesn't really play diddly poo next year.

UT and UF should be the clear 1 and 2. After that it's wide open. SC's defense is going to be to young to even know what to expect until the middle of the season

That non-conf schedule is pretty terrible
they don't even play Miami

That's just horrible.
Only things that could remotely be hiccups are LSU and FSU.
I am going out on a limb right now and say they lose to Arkansas. After two road games, and what will be a tough and physical game the week before in BR.
No one will remember it, but I will.

I think it might be easier than our schedule next year, which is basically unheard of from an SEC team

That schedule looks ridiculously easy, even for an SEC team. EIGHT home games, THREE away games, and a game against an 1-AA school... one of those games in frickin Starksville.
It's actually very comparable to USC's schedule this year.

texas looked like pure garbage against a one (or none) dimensional osu team. they had no real playmakers. i have no idea how they beat ou, but they arent on uf's level.

quote:Oh I agree but with the way that USC closed out the season and assuming Sanchez returns, I have to believe both the Coaches and AP will jockey USC as their #3 preseason pick.
