What ever happened to these science thrillers/horror movies.

These movies made 90s movies for me. The scientist hero
Jurassic Park
Relic
Mimic
Lake Placid
Hollow Man
The Fly (I know 80s)
Etc etc

I don’t know what the differences are between theatrical and directors but this movie was dark. This kids dying was dark as frick.

It’s a gross movie

The main actress is very cute in this. She looks a lot like a more believable Jennifer Aniston.

Fun fact for me...This is the only movie where I was the only person in the theater watching it.

Mimic is pretty good for what it is.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Directors Cut.

Per google, just the directors cut is bleaker. I have to think the kids’ deaths is much lighter in the theatrical cut. Also I think they probably cut a subplot out of the movie around certain character developments
