I went to the orthopedic doctor this morning and was diagnosed with trigger fingers on my left hand.

He said he would have given me a steroid shot in my hand but I was prescribed steroid pills two days ago and wants me to wait a week then come back for a visit.

Has anyone here had this problem?

I had trigger finger my R index finger starting Sept.2024,lasted 3-4 months.Resolved on it’s own.
Now I have it my L ring finger,started,2-3 weeks ago.Haven’t been to Dr.,don’t plan on going.I try to ignore it as best as I can,I figure it will go away on it’s own eventually.

Shot should help. Start with gentle tendon gliding of pip/dip and mcp

I had 2 trigger fingers on my left hand. The index and middle finger were uncontrollable at times. I believe some supplements I started taking that contained more zinc, potassium, manganese, glucosamine and chondroitin helped. The issue of trigger fingers resolved on its own. I do, however, get an occasional cramp in my left hand.
