Kinda enjoyed it, kinda thought it sucked.
Basic premise is this guy who can’t feel pain has to go rescue his loved one. So he can withstand all the damage his body deals with to get through the adventure.
Jack Quaid is good. There are a lot of “holy shite” moments and laugh out loud moments.
The story sucks. The actual mechanics of the movie don’t really work. It’s a bit too cartoony to not be a cartoon.
The last 25 minutes are just insulting.

We saw it today and I agree with your comments.
It was entertaining, but not something I would ever suggest anybody spend money on.
There was some funny, comical bits sprinkled throughout the film.
But agreed that it seemed kind of cartoony, that’s probably the perfect way to describe it.
