They are advertising the double stack and bacon cheeseburger for $1. Ok. If you look at those patties, those are 1/4 pound portions. Just like the son of a baconaider. I ordered it the other week and the patty might be 1/8. Shouldn’t there be some sort of regulation that requires to show the actual size? No I am not the least bit fat..just enjoy a greasy burger every once in a while

They're 1/4 lbs before they cook. Then they shrink to 1/8 lb.

Wendys fell off hard during Covid. They are all severely understaffed and quality tanked.

It used to be one of the few places where the burger looked like the picture and the lettuce and tomato tasted fresh.

No FF chain has dropped off more in the last 5 years than Wendys

The food is horrible and the service is WAY worse

Ok. The 1/4 patties on the commercial are cooked 1/4 patties. Not before they hit the grill

I worked at Wendy’s in the late 90s. At that point the $.99 double stack was 2 1/8lb patties. Same patties as the kid burgers but x2

McDonald’s regular cheeseburger is now 1/10th of a lb. I know this is Wendy’s thread but I was on McDonald’s app the other day and it actually showed that. I always thought Wendy’s was a little bigger on their burgers. Probably 1/6th a lb on their smaller burgers. Dave’s are always 1/4lb patties right?

They perfected fresh fries everytime. At least mine has. The nuggets too. Burgers have def gotten smaller but no fast food has gotten worse than Taco Bell. Smaller portions and nearly 5x the price in 5 years. A chicken quesadilla, cheesy Gordita crunch and a soft taco is damn near $15 now. That’s insane. Can get carne asada at most Mexican sit down joints for that price.

Taco Bell’s model now is “if you want cheap food we’ll pick what you get”

I only go when they have the cheesy Gordita crunch in one of the cheap box deals

McDonald's has always been. That way, at least since I worked there in the 90's. We called them "ten to ones".

Use to have the best spicy chicken sandwich in the industry. Had one about 2 weeks ago for the first time in a while and it’s so bad I won’t order it again.
