With jeff kent retiring and the talk on ESpn of him. Wing a sure hof inducte it got me thinking how I feel it is to easy to get in the hof. The are to many hof players who were just a little better than average, you should have to be great and dominate your era, not just a good player.

Besides the obvious awful grammar, the point is also awful. The MLB HOF is easily the toughest one to get into.

I think that's the least of his concerns.

It's extremely position dependent, granted all of them about equal offensive opportunity, where they fall amongst their respective defensive position is relevant. Jeff kent is without a doubt one of the best offensive 2b to date. He redefined the position, before it was thought to be where you put the lil guy who guy make crazy plays.

ETA: The hands down greatest leadoff batter in baseball history will probably have to wait a year to make it into the HOF, so i wouldn't say its easy.
