Just a heads up, all but maybe 1 or 2 greens are at least 50% sand right now.
Might be another month or so before they fill in, but right now they are as rough as I’ve seen them.

They need to cut some trees or trim the surrounding canopies and firgure out their drainage issues on the greens.

Yea I figured it was an air flow issue. Would those green side fans be enough to remedy that?

It’s wild to me how they struggle so much
That’s max verticut Bermuda and that place is easy rock solid or garbage and no in between

I don’t think their super has a clue what he is doing. I have been waiting five years for them to turn it around because I love the layout but won’t waste time or money up there anymore.

Not saying it's not that guy's fault, but the state owned courses in Mississippi are all like this, it seems.
Like, they all have solid layouts, but the grass is like 3 shades lighter and mowed with worn out shite equipment.
Just saying it could be more of a funding issue rather than personnel.

Does the state own PQ?

I played on July 13. There were a couple greens in not so great shape for sure but it wasn't horrible in my opinion.
