They just dont know. I mean, if I were a top recruit and I had just took my official visits to 5 outstanding schools all with the potential of winning championships, and they were all unique in their own right, I think it could be pretty difficult especially if there wasnt any personal bias or parental pressure to go to a certain school...

You can still talk by phone and e-mail during dead periods. It's more about in person contact both on and off campus.

By this time if a recruit does not know where they are going then they are screwed up and just looking for attention. Thats why they need an early signing date so kids can sign and stop all of this show boating. They used to sign the first Saturday in December!
