Need more info baw.

How many teams are in the league? Whats the scoring? Ppr? 6pt td? Superflex?
What draft pick do you sacrifice to keep them?
How does your league usually draft rbs and qbs?

12 teams

ppr

6 pts per td

small bonus for 100 + rush yds and 200 + pass yds (not enough to matter)

1 flex, 2 rb/wr

random snake draft, set 15 min before

no real pattern for draft history

Do you lose draft picks?

Saquan is a 1st round pick
JD goes 3rd or later

Having an elite running back is a much better building block than a QB. You can get a decent QB much later and stock up on receiving talent early in the draft to max your PPRs.

JD will be serviceable much longer in a fantasy keeper league than a running back, a position with a notoriously short shelf life. But I’d keep the RB while he’s elite and go year to year with QB.

If the cost is the same and it is not a superflex, this is a bit of a no-brainer (sorry scarecrow). Just look at ADP.
