Just got home from work, and seems like things are blowing up. I cannot run through all this BS. Can someone that has been with it through the day give a quick rundown in layman terms. It would be appreciated.

RR's dad did a Radio inteview claims that LSU caoaches told him RR would compete for the #2 spot againt Tolliver and say Benton's family was told he and RR would compete for the #3 spot. Is concerned with the depth at the position at LSU and feels like they were lied to by LSU's coaches. "LSU is not completely out of it"

RR's dad said the coaches lied to him about the competion, it would seem he know nothing about a certaing former Bastrop star who might be at LSU.
So instead of saying RR is not going to LSU because he doesn't like to compete he will go to BAMA or OU where he will be the #1 guy automatically by default.

well it looks like we got mingo so that is positive. If randle does not want to be here then so be it. We will win without him just like we did with mcknight. All i have to do is watch a video of shepard and i feel all warm and fuzzy again.

Looks like RR's Dad is softening the blow to the state school by shifting blame to LSU coaching staff. I hate to think that this is what it is, but if you step back and look at the situation, it seems to be the gist of it.
Can't tell me that he didn't know about Benton and that he didn't know his boy would have to compete for a spot.
I'm still hopeful, but cautiously hopeful.
Good news is that we still have a good class coming in.

I think RR wants to go to LSU. Dad doesn't. Dad goes on radio to complain about depth chart issues...this is his angle that he is selling to RR. Randle is quoted on a news program that he wants to compete with the good receivers at the school he goes to. This is a disagreement between the two of them that has spilled out into the media a bit...we shall see how it ends up

All I can figure is his Dad wants a promise of playing time at the 11th hour which CM has not made or he is worried about Benton beating his son out.

Apparently all the talk of LSU being a lock was squashed with a few words out of RR's dad. Bama also messed up too as well so at least he wont be torching us in the SEC.

I would love to know what really goes on with the recruitment of one of the top 5 players in the country with bama involved. Hope he can see the future, i see a shity qb, and bama on probation, coaching instability. And all the bs about a starting spot??? bullshite and we all know it. Kind of like meyer telling richardson he will get 25 carries a game. But you hear nothing about that. Just another way to dis miles.
