Ithica College baws skinned a black bear in their dorm

I don't see a problem here.
They lived in a dorm for college.
I guess they could have hung it from a tree in the front yard, but that really would have riled the leftists. At least they tried to do it in private.

According to the story, the bear was determined to be of legal size and taken legally during hunting season in a designated area for hunting.
I'm guessing they did that so none of the bleeding hear PETA types wouldn't get their panties in a bind by not processing it outdoors.

Fun fact about that movie- the outdoor campus scenes are at UGA. I watched them film a lot of it. Even though it was Fall, there weren't enough leaves on the ground so they had garbage bags full of fake Hollywood leaves they'd sprinkle out before each shot to make it seem more Fall-like, then they'd pick them all back up, and go on to the next location, sprinkle them all out again. I don't know what you call that in the credits- Fake Leaf Handler?

Yup, they were trying to be discreet about it. I used to skin squirrels in my dorm at LSU. They were a lot easier to sneak in than I imagine that bear was.
