Will be out there for work 2 days next month. Looks about a 2hr drive to napa so that's out.
Anything to do locally? I am not seeing much. There is a J Lohr shop where they do tastings so I may check that out, then fly home.

I'm in the Bay Area frequently for work and hate when I have to be in San Jose. It's just boring as shite. When you aren't working, I'd recommend taking Lyft/Uber and hang on Castro Street in Mountain View or Santa Cruz Ave in Los Gatos.
ETA: If you do need to stay in San Jose, Paper Plane is a good cocktail bar and Good Karma always has a great selection of craft beer.

I used to live in the Bay Area and I would describe San Jose as “the big nothing.” It is America’s largest suburb.
San Jose is the safest big city in America and the average home price is a little over $1 million.
