Didn't see this posted but it's from earlier this morning. Could be something, could be nothing - but he sure does praise the assistants and subtly take credit away from Kiffin (other than for assembling the staff). Sounds like he's preparing the fans by assuring them the staff can handle things if Lane isn't there.

That's how I view it too - he's one of the few people who would actually know if something was already done or agreed to. They're trying to get out in front of it.

No clue if it's Lane to LSU, but it sounds like he won't be at Ole Miss.
