leaves Ole Miss, then Ole Miss will become what Alabama came to be for LSU...yes, major differences between Saban and Lane but those aisde -- the Ole Miss for LSU will become palpable, which is fine.
If he remains, whatever relationship he had is no longer. Granted, LSU is the seeker but he could have silenced by simply signing the extension. If they fail to advance in the playoffs, it will be Lane's fault as he was the source of distractions. Finally, what level of confidence would any fair minded supporter of Ole Miss have going forward?
It is one thing to admire the assets of another gal but quite another to flirt and not to deny those flirtatious. If not LSU now, it will be another much, much sooner than later.
