I don't know but I saw him being taken around on one of those univeristy golf carts to class this morning, just an hour and a half ago. Don't know if that indicates the seriousness of it or not

Could be extra precaution so he really doesn't have to walk on it so he can heel faster?

From what I've heard, he's very doubtful for Saturday. Considering that LSU has a nice cushion in the standings, I hope they don't rush him back too soon. They will obviously treat the ankle today and tomorrow, and test it on Saturday to see where he's at.

I agree. Hold him out as long as we think we can. Run Garrett and Bass at the point, give Terry more minutes or Storm Warren more minutes depending on how big we want to go.

If he couldn't finish the game, then you know he'll be out for at least a week. Ankle sprains are much worse the days following the injury.

Hope it's not a high sprain. We can rest him till the Florida game on the 24th if need be.

Is it a normal sprain, or a high ankle sprain?

Don't quote me on this, but I don't think this is the case. We should hopefully know more by later today.

Saw him in class today. He's wearing an air cast, and he's on crutches. He wasn't supper dependent on the crutches though, but he seemed fine other than being tired.

Every injury is unique, so it's pure speculation at this point. Going on what little information I have, I'd say he returns either next Wed at Arkansas or the following Saturday when LSU hosts Auburn. Thankfully, the upcoming stretch isn't too tough and the next three are against Western Division teams.

He got hurt, then came back in the game. So I guess it cant be to bad.

Then he left and did not return. He could not finish the game.

ive torn and sprained each ankle in just about every way imaginable... if he could come back AT ALL last night... that means its not that serious (unless its a bone fracture) and should be able to come back once the swelling goes down and at least be 80% in a week.

id say that he's held out a game or 2. back to 90% by SEC playoffs and 100% by NCAA (hopefully)

Just got a call from my boy on campus saying he just walked past Spencer around Free Speech Alley at the Union and he was walking and jumping around, joking with some of the "evangelists" preaching today. Boy said he looked fine.

walking and jumping around,

I sure hope not considering he was barely able to put pressure on the ankle after the game last night.

It's much easier to come back right after the injury, after a tape job and before the swelling sets in. He left later for good, probably when the swelling started.
