This is the kind of hate/criticism that was directed towards Nick Saban in 2007 when he was hired there. Alabama was spending too much on a coach in a state with financial challenges… Saban lied to the media about taking the Alabama job / leaving the Dolphins… Lied to Don Shula about that, and taking the job at the school that fired his son… none of that was fair in my opinion, but more importantly, none of it mattered in the slightest. The sports media have both short attention spans, and selective amnesia.
