“ Taxes keep rising not because the public is suddenly receiving more or better services, but because enormous amounts of public money are being drained away through fraud, waste, and willful neglect. When funds that are supposed to maintain infrastructure, improve public safety, or reduce poverty are siphoned off or mismanaged, governments respond not by fixing the leak, but by demanding more from taxpayers. The problem is not a lack of revenue; it is a lack of accountability.

California provides a stark illustration. Billions of dollars have been allocated to address homelessness, yet homelessness is worse than ever. Entire bureaucracies are funded, consultants are paid, and programs are endlessly announced, but the visible outcome on the streets tells a different story. Similarly, massive sums have been poured into high-speed rail and transportation initiatives with little to show for it—years later, no meaningful track, no completed system, and no return on the public’s investment. Money moves, contracts are signed, and reports are written, but the promised results never materialize.

Beyond large infrastructure failures, there are repeated scandals involving outright fraud—such as government funds routed through nonprofit or community programs that exist more on paper than in reality. Daycare schemes, shell organizations, inflated billing, and lax oversight allow vast amounts of taxpayer money to disappear. These are not isolated incidents; they are symptoms of a system where enforcement is weak and political consequences are minimal. When fraud is exposed, it is often treated as an embarrassment to be managed, not a crime to be aggressively prosecuted.

This is why taxes go up. Instead of stopping fraudulent spending, clawing back stolen funds, or holding officials accountable for catastrophic mismanagement, politicians take the easier route: raise taxes and call it “necessary.” The burden is shifted onto ordinary citizens, while the underlying corruption remains untouched. Until fraud and waste are treated as emergencies rather than inconveniences, higher taxes will continue to mask failure, not solve it.”

So, bottom line, our taxes in reality are funding fraud. Your hard earned money is being stolen from you and being used to pay criminals. And guess what? There is not one single mother fricking thing we can do about it.

You will continue to pay your taxes and you’ll smile when you’re doing it.
And you will also say ‘thank you’ when your tax rate goes higher.

And when they start taxing the air that you breathe you’ll be thankful for that also. HAPPY 2026!

I agree with everything except this!! This is incorrect and it's really just a cop out, an excuse. The problem isn't the system, it's the folks we elect to run the system.
We the people need to vote for better congressional representation.

That's the hard truth folks don't like to admit.

Sadly, you’re under the impression that there are honest politicians out there.
Let me ask you a very simple question. Do you actually believe there are people that run for office that seriously want TO SERVE YOU?
Do you REALLY believe that? They just want to serve? If you do believe that I have some real estate I’d love to sell you.

Let me clarify a tad. I do think there very well may be 2 or 3 politicians that feel that way.

BS. It is the system. Our Federal government is too big. It provides too many services. It provides too many hand outs.

Even if the "system" performed flawlessly with zero fraud, it would still be too big.
