Reasons to Get Back in the Draft

1. We are 8-29
2. We could get good value at this point from a contender for either of Trey/Herb/Zion
3. Although I am not the biggest fan of Dumars, you have to give him credit for his ability to evaluate prospects and draft. Fears and Queen were the best picks in our draft spot last year.
4. 2026 draft class is loaded
We need to find a way to get back in the 2026 draft, or we will be bad for a very long time.

Getting back into the draft with a most likely mid round pick is going to be the determining factor on whether or not the team will be good for the foreseeable future?
We've had draft picks every year and are still consistently bad, this one pick isn't going to be the difference maker.

I’d like to get back into the mid first round range. I think we could in a deal for Herb or Zion. Also, I know that the back of the first is normally easier by either buying a pick or trading a depth player (Jose, Bey, Missi, Hawkins, etc).
