If it's who LSU wants, they'll find a way to pay that.

A lot of probably and maybes and how if “hes not an employee” is that enforceable

So in other words, they can’t do jack shite to prevent him from leaving

No shite. Every Mandel tweet has said maybe, probably, likely

Mandel is heavy on the “probablys” and “likelys” today
I wish he’d say what he really meant which is something like “I pray to Jesus that there is something, anything that will prevent Kiffin from getting this player”

The only definite he posted in that tweet was that the player can leave

I doubt the agent guided the kid to sign with a massive enforceable penalty and then started shopping him around 4 days later.

Mandel loves to sound like he knows everything even when he doesn’t. He says “probably” if he really knew what new NIl deals looked like ge would say so.

Lane is willing to make UW waste their time only for a court to side with LSU.

LSU will have to write another big check
No biggie
No biggie

Let’s be honest; a man who looks like this understands football far more than any former player or coach

The summary of Mandel's tweets on this are Williams can leave, Washington can't force him to play for them, and it's just a matter of IF damages apply and how much.

Exactly.

Does anybody in the sports industry realize this is how the real world works? Companies/Headhunters go after better qualified people all the time. This isn’t earth shattering news. The sports media and certain fans need to wake the frick up, it’s not that big of a deal.

Until the first time we get burned by it.

No. The most they can do is seek damages, i.e. compensation for breach of contract. What the penalty is will be outlined in the contract. I hope they do, honestly. Im ready for this whole NIL farce to end.

This is just more chaos thrown on anarchy. It will be awesome to see this dude on campus but man….pandora

I am not speaking from a legalities prospective, but IMO, if he received money and then backed out of the contract, he should have to return a prorated portion of the money paid along with any opt out penalties defined in the contract.
Then he should be allowed to go wherever he wants.
Then he should be allowed to go wherever he wants.
