Mendoza definitely deserved the Heisman

At first it was a head-scratcher for me. Not as electric or a stat guy like Joey B or JD, but he’s pretty solid. I had no idea how good he was until watching tonight. I still think 2019 LSU beats that team easily.

I agree it's hard to judge teams from different years and times, I believe 2019 had a lot of very high level teams. The talent pools were very very saturated at specific and certain schools, and LSU happened to get Burrow and we know the rest of the story.
College football did not have as many super elite teams this year, and NIL and the transfer portal may keep the talent more spread out and teams will rarely play 3 or 4 years together, which contributes to very elite football teams usually.

Their O Line deserved it the most. They man handle any team that isn’t dominant in the front 7

Agree. Actually have met him year ago before blew up. My good friend is his very close relative.
Great kid. Just as you see on TV. If character is a component of Heisman, then this is a no brainer.

Mendoza will be first player selected in draft. Dude was a two star recruit out of high school.
