How long does a new coach need to “rebuild“ a team when that is the coaches job every single year now.. to rebuild almost an entirely new roster. It reminds me of these top-tier basketball programs that had to win with a bunch of starters who were “one and done” for all those years. In today’s CFB world, any team could instantly be competitive at the start of every season. Not to mention, this does not help out Brian Kelly’s case. I just think he was a bad coach.
