Two things from the video:
1) They arrested the wrong guy the very first time. Miraculously, he survived and even led them to the right guy.
2) Chicago gonna Chicago releasing criminals with ICE detainers even then.

That part really stuck out to me too. Today, just 10 years later, we have people resisting arrest to the point of death in some cases and media sensationalizing it as Jack-booted thugs doing the bidding of a madman. But when a dem is in the WH, it was just a simple correctable mistake and no one was the worse for wear.
