In no certain order of importance when they.......

1) Pass a balanced budget amendment.
2) Pass congressional term limit amendment.
3) Ban congress from trading equities.
4) Pass legislation abolishing the Federal Reserve fiat monetary racket
5) Pass legislation protecting federal elections from fraud and rigging
6) Pass legislation requiring members of Congress to be sworn in during Congressional hearings. (No more grandstanding and lying, screw this immunity BS)
7) Pass legislation requiring all able bodied US citizens to speak and read rudimentary English, speaking English begins the assimilation process
8) Place a 5-10 year moratorium on all immigration (exceptions case by case)
9) Pass legislation/amendment banning self avowed socialists/communists/Marxists and first generation immigrants from holding elected office at the federal level.
10) Pass legislation abolishing all Federal government involvement in social service entitlement programs, including student loans and mortgages. (All social services should be at the state level, including student loans and mortgages, if a state's residents want to fund such programs have at it.)

One could only hope they would do any of this^^^^^.....they won't!!!!

The reality is, nothing will change for the better until the states reclaim their power. The federal government needs to shrink by at least 50% and the process begins by removing the federal government from administering social services. You start taking the money away from the federal government and I think there's a chance the constitutional republic can be preserved, I believe it can thrive. Individual states will prosper or fail based on how each state is internally governed.

Quick tidbit of information per Google AI,

The total debt of the state of Missouri is $11 billion, if you add in all public debt it's around $50 billion.

The total public debt of the state of California is $1.37 trillion

Is the picture a little clearer now?

Government should not be charity. Government should be emotionless.

Social safety nets guarantee failure of the citizens it is alleged to protect.

Most of the stuff you listed “the most principled conservative” hasn’t drafted legislation or been adamant about. Can’t believe any multi term congressman gets any praise with how they run the government.

I would gladly vote for someone who ran on such a platform.

People go to DC to get rich, not to serve. Why would they act against their self interests?

Nice! But, one more:

11) Pass legislation abolishing income tax.
