As exciting as some of the o line additions we’ve made, it’s also huge to keep a talent like Solomon Thomas on board for year 2. Had an injury riddled year 1 but has all the tools to be a dominant guard.

None of us have seen him play against college competition. We don’t really know much about him yet.
Most people are just star-gazing when they talk about him.

Very nice to be able to hold on to him. Kind of surprised we were able to keep him considering how close he is with Alex Atkins. All the talk during his recruitment was about how he was tied to the hip with Atkins.
In case anyone is wondering or may have forgot, Solomon Thomas was committed to Florida State when Alex Atkins was there. When Atkins was fired and subsequently hired by LSU, he flipped from FSU to LSU.

Yeah, we needed him to stay, badly. I was hoping we'd keep 2 of Curne, Echols, Miller, and Adams.
I think we still need one sure-fire starter on the OL that we can rely on. The only available guy who could start here is Seaton, so we need to throw the bag at him.
I'm all about getting Princewell, and have nothing against Lee, but Seaton has to be the top priority and we can't make any deals that would keep us from being able to sign him.

Yes I'm looking forward to seeing what Thomas can do.

Umm we have our center back, and Bah was a 2 year starter at a decent Big Ten school. LSU fans also might not want to hear it, but Weston Davis has as much potential as anyone in America. Insanity ppl are judging him off the worst OL/OC coaching with horrific head coaching. Those 3 are automatic starters.
Then we got all young/upside guys. You don’t really know anything about the meac guys or RS FR dudes. We have talent. We would all love to have Seaton, but that doesn’t change our ceiling, it only changes our floor

Well that’s just not at all accurate for something said so definitively.
