Nuke the filibuster!

Should we really be worried about DEMs? They always seem angry but everything they do is choreographed.

I think it is now or never for the gop. I also know they never will do it. Those in Congress realize that the grift will end for both sides if this happens.

Neither party will change the rule to a simple majority to override the filibuster because they both know when the tables are turned they are 100% screwed. The filibuster helps both parties reach somewhat of a compromise agreement.

I’m not a fan of nuking the filibuster, the left will abuse the hell out of it if in power. DC nd Puerto Rico would quickly become states

It has stopped Congress from getting any sort of shite done for decades. It also means when something does get done and it's a mistake, it's nearly impossible to get rid of it. The structure of the senate itself is plenty to let both parties have a say. The filibuster just means Congress doesn't do shite but fundraise to get reelected to continue not doing shite.

I’m not so sure about that next time Democrats control the Senate. Every time a barrier like this gets crushed democrats set the precedent. I believe it will happen soon but not with GOP in charge.
