Prepare yourself, folks.

No sooner will the Senate pass the SAVE Act and President Trump sign it, than an activist liberal judge will strike it down as unconstitutional.

Every single blue state will be suing on this. So once that first judge loses on appeal, they'll find another judge and another judge and another judge.

They just want to run out the clock past the midterms.

And once all of that fails, the governors of these states will simply refuse to require ID to vote.

You know it's coming.

Do these lawfare loons not understand the separation of power between the 3 branches? (Yes, AOC, branches. Not chains. Also, the House & Senate don't count as 2 of the "cjains").

Pretty sure if it passes it will end up in the Supreme Court. It it makes the Court I like the bills chances of standing.

Does this happen before midterms??? Probably not.

The corrupt Political Establishment has had a long and successful run. Obviously, they aren't going to give up without a fight.

And they will lose at the Supreme Court level. Congress is tasked with making laws and they are representative of the people. It’s the same reason the court upheld Obama care when it was challenged as being unconstitutional. The problem will be with the democrat states that will ignore the law, much like sanctuary cities ignore immigration laws.

He's right, the republican party will literally not exist in 20 years. Ya'll lack the foresight to see what damage has been done.

Here is what the Constitution says:

Article I, Section 4, Clause 1:

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Note that this is limited to elections for House and Senate, but it looks like Congress has the power to override state rules at least in these elections.

How can that be possible if the House, Senate, and Executive all approve of a law..... how in the frick can that be challenged? Once that law passes, it has met every requirement of our Constitutional process.

At which time, only one remedy is possible.... one that is inevitable..

The Judiciary has the power to declare laws unconstitutional. That opinion will be 100% ideology driven if the leftists ever pack the court.

Here's a question for everyone: Whenever a legal ruling is seen to be political, how come 99% of the possible swing votes come from Republican nominees? at least for the last 30 years, probably a bit more

We have to hope its rectified before midterms. Send it straight to SCOTUS.

I’m sure SCOTUS will expedite it for hearing rather than drag it out

Then take it to SCOTUS and then impeach that judge.

Sounds pretty straightforward. If we had SCOTUS judges who actually ruled by the Constitution it would be an easy 9-0 slam dunk.

Who judges the judges? I know they can be impeached.
How often recently has that happened? And we have some ridiculous and outright anti-Constitutional rulings.

It seems that the judges have the final say whenever the left does not like something.

Why do we need Congress when it's the activist judges who seem to be running things or at least trying damned hard.
