Max preps ranks toughest boys and girls playoffs for basketball

I saw today Max Preps ranked the states with the toughest and best basketball playoffs for boys and girls. Louisiana wasn’t in it. Texas, New Jersey, California, DC Catholic league led the list. Then I looked at girls scores from the first round what a joke. Hopefully the split is fixing to be done. Then everyone will have to compete with everyone not just B and C. Maybe the 5 A schools can save the season. It would be fun to see Ruston and Zachary go against the big privates but we will never know. Maybe next Friday all of the LHSAA problems will be solved but maybe they are opening a big can of worms. Hopefully Bonine will be gone after this and they can start over.

The association had problems before Bonine and will have them after he is gone. I make that statement and I am not a Bonine fan. The argument over select vs non select has become so polarized that I think the split is here to stay.
