Is there a better deal in town than 3 for $1.39 when you're in a hurry?

Great cracklin.

Try his fried turkey wings as well. Love em.

I don't care for his beef jerky.

I have a bag of the bottom of the cracklins I bought yesterday. It was $1.79 and has about a pound of the day before cracklin and all the bits and pieces from the bottom of the pan. I'm going to use some of it to season a pot of red beans tomorrow to see what it's like.

Ronnie's is on Florida Blvd. The cracklins are pretty good. Never had the boudin or boudin balls, but I plan on trying them soon.

simular to Best Stop in Scott.. Supposedly same family. Smoked boudin is great. But everything you get at any place like this is a steal.. Boudin may be the best value meal you can find.

Wife's grand ma keeps a bag in the fridge, puts a hand full in her cornbread batter before she bakes it which is very good; however she also puts them on her corn flakes for breakfest which I have never tried, but just can't imagine being good

Mornin fellas............

Ronnies has been a regular stop for me since they opened a few years ago. My fishing trips to G.I. or my tailgate parties would just be incomplete without a stop by there.

The Smoked Boudin grilled under the Oaks at LSU gets rave reviews, as do a tray of Boudin Balls.

Their regular Sausage is among the best I have ever eaten and do wonders to a pot of beans.

We buy their Boneless Stuffed Chickens on a regular basis as well and are a great family meal deal...........

Ronnie's opening in my neighborhood added six inches to my waistline and will probably take a year off of my life.

Awesome boudin.

Hey, thinking about running over there at lunchtime to pick up some supplies for my trip this weekend-I know they serve lunches, but can you get sandwiches/burgers/etc. for the damn Yankees that I eat lunch with that can't always eat our local cusine?

If Ronnie's was open at night I'd be the guy that Jerry Springer has to carry out on a forklift.

But yeah, it does suck that I can't pick up Ronnie's on the way home.

I brought a pile of Ronnie's boudin home to Lafayette for one of the holidays, and they were afraid to touch it because it was from Baton Rouge. (Boudin is like your mom's gumbo. You can't imagine anyone else's being near as good.) But they ate it all.

I like Jerry Lee's regular boudin better. I find Ronnie's too greasy (but still good).
Never tried the smoked boudin though.
