Scheduled to start Wednesday night at 11:15PM CT (Thursday local)

However, 8 of the full time members are still trying to get to Hong Kong. Apparently they already have enough reserves there ready to play, but it’s a crazy time to be traveling through the Middle East

I don’t know about the other guys locations, but I knew McKibbin lives in Dubai. Apparently him & Surratt were playing a round at Trump Dubai last night

Doesn’t seem like the smartest choice, but maybe it is safer than it seems

Rahmbo getting plenty of attention for his comments about the deal with DP Tour

Also noteworthy is Phil is still out this week due to a “family health matter”. I haven’t seen any other information or updates, so I’m not sure if we even see him at one of the next 2 events in Singapore or South Africa

Golf Channel reached out to several of those players and received a response from Surratt, who traveled with his wife, Kayla, from last month’s LIV stop in Australia to Dubai for a couple weeks of prep.

“And then world just came undone on Saturday,” Surrat said via text on Tuesday morning. “It was terrifying. But since then, it’s been OK. It was bad Sunday and Monday here with missile interceptions, but all day today was fine.” He said Tuesday was “totally normal life, people walking around and such.”

The 21-year-old Surratt, who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, added that he was trying to make a flight out of Muscat, in neighboring Oman, and “potentially find a way to Hong Kong in the next 12 hours or at least out of here.”

Flushing It reported other players were hoping for a similar escape through Oman and Thailand, while some were still trying to get a direct flight out of Dubai.

Detrey and Caleb made it out. I’m sure Meronk has found a way too, probably with them. Check the screen name. I know. I play with them.

Apparently all 7 of them were in Dubai & made it there 24 hrs before the start of R1. I’m sure Lahiri made it out of India

Tour is sponsored by Riyadh Air, but Rahm flew all of them on a private jet out of Oman

R1 starts at 11pm tonight on FS2
